The name Arrows Nest originates from the Bible. Psalms Chapter 127 verses 3-5 state “Children are a blessing from the Lord. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full.” We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for bringing each child and every volunteer to this program in any way. Our hope is that when they leave, we can confidently send them out into the world knowing that they have been fully loved, accepted and empowered through the love of Jesus displayed at Arrows Nest.

The home itself—an older home in the area—was donated to the ministry in 2016 and has proved to be a great location with endless opportunities for making connections and supporting the neighborhood youth.
